SHIPPING POLICY
Shipping Options: we choose Allo Express overnight shipping services for the safe delivery of your favorite animals. You get free shipping when you spend over 450€.
Packing: All animals are shipped inside an insulated shipping container (Coldpack, http://www.coldpack.com). We use double-line shipping bags filled with oxygen to pack your polyps.
Corals alive guarantee: We guarantee healthy, alive arrival on all our animals. The coral that we sell are some of the hardiest shipping corals on the planet. They are well adapted to extremes in temperature (from 19 – 30°C). If in the rare occurrence the corals seem exceedingly stressed (i.e. bleached, brown and slimy, etc) upon arrival, please contact us as soon as possible at info@coralbiome.com. As a proof, we request a photo of the animal while still in the bag within 2 hours of delivery.
Delivery Date: We can ship on just about any day that is convenient for you Monday-Thursday. Delivery will take place the following day. Let us know what works best in the 'comments' section of the checkout, otherwise we will get in touch with you after the order to confirm a convenient shipping date.
Saturday Delivery: We will ship on Friday for delivery on Saturday, but only if there is really no other day that will be convenient for you. However, keep in mind that this solution might be risky for your animals in the case of a delayed delivery. Please be advised that if in the very rare occurrence that carrier makes a mistake, the package will not be delivered until Monday. Unlike our weekday deliveries, we will not be able to guarantee live delivery if delayed delivery (i.e. on Monday) takes place.
Weather Conditions: During the winter months we use heat packs inside the insulated boxes (no extra charge). In times of extreme cold we will add a second heat pack outside the liner and inside the cardboard for increasing thermal protection. Please keep an eye on the weather in your home town. If it looks like you will be receiving severe storms that might delay delivery, please advise us to ship on an alternative day. We may choose to delay shipping if we determine that the weather looks too risky.
Hold at Location: If you are unsure whether you can be home for delivery, or the weather is unseasonably cold, we highly recommend having us ship directly to your nearest Allo Express hub or office location. Typically, the box will arrive earlier in the day at their facilities so you can pick it up at your convenience. In the meantime, the box will be held in a climate controlled environment.
Shipping damages: All deliveries are assured (maximum 750€ per box). The insurance-payment is included in the shipping-costs. The shipment must be checked immediately for completeness and possible damages at reception. Obvious transportation-damages have to be indicated to the responsible transportation-business immediately.
